Miyuki Nishimura has been an attorney specializing solely in family law since 2003. With 16 years of legal experience, she specializes in divorces, child custody, child support, spousal support, paternity, community property division, legal separation, domestic violence cases, uncontested divorces and pre- & post-nuptial agreements. She currently manages the family law division of the Law & Mediation Offices of Elizabeth Yang.
Miyuki received her Juris Doctor Degree from University of New Hampshire School of Law (former Pierce Law), Concord 9, New Hampshire. During law school, she served as student attorney at Civil Practice Clinic and Administrative law and Advocacy Clinic representing individuals in consumer protection, bankruptcy, child custody and social security matters in state and federal courts and administrative agencies.
Miyuki is a licensed attorney in California, Michigan, the District of Columbia and before the United States District Court for the Central District of California. She is a member of California State Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, and Japanese American Bar Association.
Miyuki Nishimura was born and raised in Aichi, Japan. She is fluent in both English and Japanese.
